Onboard Behavior Regulations

This Regulation forms an integral part of the General Conditions of Carriage and governs the rules of conduct that all passengers are required to respect during boarding, stay on board, navigation and disembarkation.

The provisions are aimed at ensuring the safety of navigation, the protection of the safety of passengers and crew, as well as compliance with the rules of civil coexistence.

The acceptance of the travel document or the rental/event contract implies the full acceptance of these Regulations.

 

1. Commander's Authority

The Commander of the unit exercises authority over all persons on board, in accordance with current legislation.
Passengers are required to:

  • strictly comply with the instructions given by the Commander and the crew on board;
  • respect the instructions provided in the boarding and disembarkation areas;
  • collaborate in case of emergency or extraordinary situations

Failure to comply with the provisions may result in removal from the service, where possible under safe conditions, without prejudice to compensation for any damage.

 

2. General rules of conduct

Passengers are prohibited from:

a) hinder docking, mooring and maneuvering operations, staying in technical areas or reserved for the crew;
b) access areas reserved for personnel;
c) engage in dangerous, aggressive or harassing behavior towards other passengers or crew;
d) get on board or remain in a state of alteration by alcohol or drugs;
e) smoking in indoor areas and in any area where it is expressly prohibited;
f) use sound equipment or high-volume electronic devices to cause disturbance;
g) throw waste into the sea or leave it outside the appropriate containers;
h) damage, remove or tamper with furniture, safety equipment or on-board equipment;
i) use emergency devices if not in case of real need;
j) bring flammable, explosive, corrosive or otherwise dangerous materials on board;
k) introducing weapons or objects designed to offend, except as permitted by law for authorized persons;
l) dive from the unit without the express authorization of the Commander in safe conditions;
m) carry out sales, promotion or distribution of advertising material without the Company's prior written authorization;
n) unduly occupying more seats with personal effects in the event of a high turnout.

 

3. Safety while browsing

While browsing:

  • passengers must behave prudently, supporting themselves with appropriate supports in case of movement of the unit (roll and pitch);
  • it is forbidden to sit or climb on parapets, railings or structures not intended for sitting;
  • minors must be constantly supervised by a responsible adult;
  • it is mandatory to comply with the safety procedures described by the crew.

In the event of an emergency, everyone must follow only the instructions of the crew on board.

 

4. Animals on board

Indicate whether or not pets are allowed to enter, and if so, what security measures are in place and indicate that the responsibility for their actions will fall on the owner.

 

5. Private events and rentals

In the case of private events or exclusive rental of the unit:

  • the organizer is responsible for the behavior of the invitees;
  • any installations must be authorized in advance;
  • the installation of equipment or structures without the written consent of the Company is prohibited;
  • compliance with all navigation safety regulations remains unaffected.

 

6. Administration and consumption of alcohol

6.1 General Principles

The administration of alcoholic beverages takes place in compliance with current legislation.

The Company reserves the unquestionable right to:

· refuse or suspend administration to people in a state of alteration;

· limit the amount of drinks served;

· prohibit consumption in certain areas of the Unit.

6.2 State of alteration

It is forbidden to:

· boarding or staying on board while drunk or psychophysical alteration;

· engage in aggressive, dangerous behavior that is harmful to security.

In such cases, the Commander may order the immediate removal of the subject, without the right to reimbursement.

6.3 Exclusion of liability

The Company is not responsible for:

· damages deriving from reckless conduct carried out by passengers in a state of alteration;

· self-caused damage;

· damage to third parties caused by individual behavior that does not comply with the provisions given.

The personal liability of the person who caused the damage remains unaffected.

 

7. Toilets and hygiene

Toilets must be used properly, avoiding any behavior that could cause damage or clogging.
Every passenger is required to comply with public hygiene regulations and to maintain the decorum of the rooms.

 

8. Liability for damages

The passenger is responsible for damage caused to the unit, to the furniture, to the on-board equipment or to third parties by their own fault or by persons under their responsibility.

 

9. Final provisions

The Company reserves the right to supplement or modify these Regulations for security, regulatory or operational needs.
